Commercial projects
Commercial pools for hotels, HOA's, condos, schools and camps
Design, engineering and construction from Lakewood, by a crew that can join your pool party at any stage.
Chapter 01
Where does Pool Docs join your project?
Commercial work rarely starts on a blank lot. Sometimes an owner has a rough idea and needs a pool designed. Sometimes an engineer has drawings and needs a builder. Sometimes the shell is half formed and the schedule has slipped. Pool Docs covers it all, from design to engineering to construction, and the crew will join your pool party at any stage in its creation.
That flexibility matters because a commercial pool is several disciplines stacked together: structure, circulation, finishes, deck and the equipment that keeps the water safe to swim in. Coming in mid-project means reading what the other trades have already set before anyone pours or plumbs another inch. Plans, a site or just a first idea can go to the office at 525 Oberlin Ave South in Lakewood, or to 732.300.2481 on weekdays.

Working beside the general contractor
A pool for a hotel, a condo building or a camp is almost never the only job on site. Pool Docs has a proven track record of working alongside large contracting firms, which means fitting excavation, steel, plumbing, electrical and decking into a schedule that someone else is running.
In practice that is a lot of small, unglamorous coordination: confirming where the equipment pad sits before the slab goes in, agreeing who sets the coping and who tiles, and checking that the water feeds and drains land where the engineer drew them. The aim is a pool that is ready when the rest of the building is ready for it.
Chapter 03
On time, within budget, and still running afterward
Pool Docs sets out to execute commercial projects on time and within budget, and the way to hold that is to settle the big decisions early: finishes, features, equipment and crew access, all agreed before the first shovel.
A new pool also has to be opened, balanced and looked after once the ribbon is cut. The same company that builds it handles weekly maintenance, openings and closings, and equipment and chemical sales, so the people who know where every valve sits can keep the water ready for guests, residents and campers across the tri-state area.
“They are knowledgeable, responsive and know the process so well that it eliminates all the headaches before they even happen.” Molly G.
